Hi Carol!! Thank you for the postcards! You're right, the Colorado one is awesome!! I love that LA skyline too. Hope you had a nice time! Thanks again for thinking of me! : )
Have an AWESOME New Year 2014, Carol! I hope to do lots more swaps with you, one of my favorite swappers here! :) I had to chuckle before leaving this Profile Comment because I noticed your latest Comments are from me! I promise I'm not stalking you! haha!
I always get a good chuckle reading your Profile. No. 1 I was thinking you were showing your age when you listed anything with Fred Astaire, Jimmy Stewart, Bing Crosby as favorite movies. Then I realized you were only 8 years older than me! LOL! I happen to like the old black and white movies myself moreso than modern movies.
I am STILL jealous to read of the fact that your dad used to bring you postcards from the dead letter file at the post office. Ugh! How fun that must have been for you then and even now when you look over them.
And I'm so with you about the Post Office NOT being the place to buy postage stamps. Oh, the irony! My post office is small but it does regularly get new issues. They don't keep them long (sell out) but at least I know I'm in a post office and don't have to ASK like you did in your Profile story! LOL! But yes, online is the BEST place to buy stamps. I usually run out of money before I make a DENT in my wishlist, however! LOL! Well, probably because besides stamps I want the notecards and stationery! ;)
Thank you for joining my swap Fall/Autumn Postcard Swap - Int'l. I hope you will enjoy it! But then, I'm sure you will, you deltiologist you!
Joe Fallon - Blackhawks? Hmmm....ok. Haha, kidding! That's pretty cool you've got a hockey player in the family. The Sakics lived four blocks away, back in the day...See you in the mailbox!
