I'm an artist, a mom and a crafter...you name the craft I do it or have tried it! Professionally, I am a graphic designer and currently trying to make a full-time living off of freelance work.

My favorite artists are Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, REM, Phish... I also enjoy listening to and playing folk fiddle tunes, Irish jigs and reels and Bluegrass

My faves are quilting, sewing, embroidery, beading, scrapbooking, origami, ATC's and anything I can do with my 6 yr old son. I enjoy recycled-materials craft and usually make things that are useful to my family.

I enjoy doing the most artistic end of crafting...that is, I rarely use a pattern and when I do, it is always altered in a way to suit my taste or my supplies on hand.

My favorite subject matter is nature, especially plants. If it's leafy, I love it! I love natural colors greens and browns and the organic look of tie dyes and batiks.
