I got into paper crafting recently and I really love it. Most of my life I've done some sort of crafting depending on the mood I'm in and I do like variation. Recently, I figured out how to do a swedish heart basket which was challenging and fun! I like to sketch with pencil (not that I'm good at it) and I love different kinds of papers as to design and texture. I love fabrics too.

I tend toward more geometric designs but am not opposed to all other forms.

I like the mid-century modern style of decorating but would put myself in the warm modern genre rather than the colder minimalist genre.

I love reading and like to try new recipes, especially those that use fresh ingredients and are low fat.

I love all kinds of color and really don't want to put a limit on what someone wants to do artistically. I'm interested in seeing other people's ideas of design and art, so go for it! : )

The music I like depends on my mood (and the weather) such as, classical or country or soothing instrumental sounds or rock, whether for sunny days, rainy days or foggy days. For example, I like Il Divo and Michael Buble but I'm also up for Kermit the Frog singing one of his faves. I'm not above liking a good Sousa march or something on the bagpipes. I like piano instrumentals as well as cellos and violins.

I don't think I have a favorite craft and I'm not the kind of person who is continually crafting but I really like paper crafts and some sewing. I am open to try new things and love learning from others.

I like fiction and non-fiction, but my favorite reads are English murder mysteries, whether cozy or more realistic. I also like books on sociological issues, biographies, sci fi, gardening, and history.

Midsomer Murders, Moonlight, Ghost Whisperer and British sit-coms, like Keeping Up Appearances. I also like the Jane Austen movies being shown on PBS these days. I like NCIS, Supernanny, House, and Extreme Makeover House Edition. If I allowed myself cable TV, I would be watching the makeover shows far too much!

I like greens, blues, yellows, oranges, reds and browns in different shades, not all necessarily together though! I'm particularly partial to the colors of Tuscany!

Books, a cup of hot tea, glassware, bed linens, the smell of clean laundry especially the whites, artwork whether professional or amateur, nature scenes, architecture, traveling, people, family, a good laugh, a great quote, eating out, my husband, paper of all kinds, fabrics with texture, the ocean and beach, a great view, technology, my children, The British Isles (anglophile), history, someone who tells a good story, good food, chocolate, to make someone smile, a good argument, logic and reason, great music, hydrangeas, peonies, lavender, larkspur, Redwood trees, holidays of all sorts, learning.
