...and a flaker free new year!

so for those of you who celebrate Christmas or one of it's various incarnations including winter solstice and would like to wish your fellow swappers a happy holiday, this is the swap for you!

you will have 5 partners and are to send them a Christmas card each. the image / greeting inside will be senders choice but please keep in mind swappers religious preference, so no nativity scenes to those who are not religious and vice versa.

this swap is international and all cards must be sent by Dec 3rd in order to avoid missing the approved (by your mail carrier service) international Christmas post dates and reduce the risk of it arriving after new years!

I am allowing newbies in and anyone who's rating is higher than 4.8 I can angel this swap, but for those who do, they will receive a new years card or new note card for their use as an alternative.

As this is senders choice, please rate a 5 if you received a card. Please allow extra time for it to arrive as the Christmas rush may delay post as can bad weather conditions. I'm quite sure we would all rather wait an extra day than have our post men and women break their legs falling on ice whilst delivering our cards!

EDIT: when it is time to assign partners, I will be dropping anybody who has not logged into swap-bot for over two weeks, unless there is some indication that you are going to be around the do the swap, ie: 'I am on holiday from //// date to //// date' otherwise I will not know who has left / forgotten about the swap. this is to help minimise the number of potential flakers / late sends.

UK only version can be found here: UK edition

if anybody wants to host a USA only version, or a country of their origin only version, eg Australia, they may also post a link to it here, I see no reason why international swappers can't join both! :)

I love to send out Christmas cards every year, so can't wait to get mine done and sent out as soon as partners are assigned around mid-November.

Thanks for hosting this, I like participating in the Christmas swaps even though I celebrate Yule/Winter Solstice, I just love the cold season holidays in general!

Christmas baby!

I would love to receive religious nativity scenes, even if I am not religious. I have no problem with this at all :)

I am still prepared to Angel this swap for who ever needs it, but please allow ample time for cards to arrive before requesting one! (ie. 3 weeks from marked sent date as there will be a back-log of post due to the holiday season).

I am aware that hartline22 has been partially suspended, but as she had already marked sent I am hoping that she has done (although I have seen evidence to suggest otherwise, by her own admittion) at this time we can only wait and see, but I will be getting in touch with her partners when sufficient time has passed.
