Incredible Women ATC Series - #1: Burlesque Beauty

This is the first in what I hope will become a long line of ATC swaps dedicated to women throughout history and from every walk of life. It is our duty as modern women to pay tribute to all those lovely ladies who have come before us and learn from them as we move forward into our futures.

Future swaps will include: First Ladies, Female Artists, Fashion Designers, Female Authors and Poetesses, Movie Stars, and many more!

From the early part of the last century to back even to the 1800's, beautiful women have danced in revealing (though quite tame by modern standards) costumes for the entertainment of men and women alike. They were not strippers but highly talented performers and artists whose use of tease, glamour, and a sense of aloofness would never disappoint.

Stars past and present both include, Lili St Cyr, Dita Von Teese, Angie Pontani, Gypsy Rose Lee, Josephine Baker, The Infamous Bettie Page, and many others.

Recently the art of Burlesque dancing has been rekindled and the art, images, and shows are now a cult phenomenon. With this ATC swap we will pay tribute to the beauty of the past and present with our one of a kind works of art.

ATCs will be of standard size (2.5 x 3.5 inches) and will include an image(s) of a burlesque dancer (along with embellishments, words, gems, feathers, whatever) whether she be from the past or present doesn't matter but keep in mind to stick with the aesthetic of timeless, romantic beauty and fun.

Remember to add to the back of your ATC the name of the swap, the edition numbers, your name AND swap-bot screen name, and the date the work was created.

No profiles with unexplained 1's or 3's in the past 6 months.
