Hello to all of you Shutterbugs!!!

This Photo Swap is an interesting one.

You'll be taking 3 pictures. One picture for each letter: A, B & C.
Instead of taking picture that begin with the letter of the alphabet, you'll be taking pictures OF the alphabet. It has to be naturally occurring ( ie, a tree branch and a telephone wire crossing to make an A, or a building in the shape of a Y)
Nothing can be manipulated! You can not take 3 sticks and make an A out of them, then take a picture of it... That doesn't work.

The idea is to use your creative, photographic eye and get out there and take pictures. Take a close up of the scroll work on a lamp, or zoom way out and look at the cloud formations... its up to you!

Requirements: You must have a rating of 4.5 or higher to join this swap, the photos must be yours, and you have to have fun!

You'll have a little over two weeks to get this done, so no flakes, please.

Have fun & Happy swapping!

sounds like a great idea but i dont think i could pull it off lol

Quick question - this one is just the letters A, B and C, right? Not the whole alphabet in 2 weeks!? Its not entirely clear in the description.

Saartje 02/11/2011 #

I was wondering the same thing as Sillyna511... I think I can manage three letters. But I'm going to find my letters before I join, too.

Lauriez 02/11/2011 #

i am wondering about that as well, so will be watching for now...

I've actually been doing this for almost a year now and have found amost all of the letters, but I'm missing a few.

apparently it is all of the letters of the alphabet since the letter "Y" was used as an example in the swap description! A bit much for me right now...but it sounds fun to work on for future swaps!

Godssongg 02/14/2011 #

Oh sorry for the confusion! No it's only A, B and C. I just used a different letter as a an example so everyone wasn't sending the same picture. I'll make an edit to the description! LOL!

Godssongg 02/14/2011 #

OK, it's edited and I lengthened the amount of time you have to send the pictures, You have a little over a month now! Is that more helpful?

crescendo 02/19/2011 #

Shoot! I missed this by one day! Hope to catch the rest of the alphabet swaps if you do the other letters.

I love this. My son and daughter-in-law got the most gorgeous picture for their wedding ~ a black an white framed picture of their last name shoot out of items. I am so excited about this.

I already have my "A".........Kelly:)

Sillyna511 02/23/2011 #

crescendo - I think she is planning to do the whole alphabet, bit by bit, as long as people are interested! :D I've got a list going with all my ideas for A to Z. I figure I should be prepared, haha!

Godssongg 02/25/2011 #

Yeah, eventually we'll do the whole alphabet! I'm so exited! I think it will be amazing! I will let you know when we do the next set so you can join. And I'm sure if you want to see the ones people are doing, just pm them your email. I'd be more than willing to send my letters to you as well! Just let me know! And if you want, you can do a b & c, then just add them to the next three. That would be awesome! I can't wait to see all of you shutterbugs' creativity!
