Description:

THANKS TO HAPPYMOM for letting me use/modify her swap!! It's the same premise of her Stuff a Box/Flat Rate envie swap that is due in April, but my swap will have a quick turn-around time of 2 weeks.

Here's your chance to pass along any items you've received that you don't have any use for, or things you'd just like to share with someone else. Maybe you received items in a swap that aren't your cup of tea, or things you just won't ever use. Maybe you bought yourself something, got it home, and realized that you really didn't need or want it. Well, here's your chance to pass it along to someone else, and receive other things that you may want!

RULES: All items must be new and in good shape. No partially-used products, bent, torn, damaged, old or faded items. Please don't send junky things!

Items can be craft supplies, jewelry, stationery/stickers, office supplies, scrapbooking supplies/rubber stamps, food or drink items, knick-knacks, bath & beauty items. Please check your partner's profile for any things NOT to send. While you'll be selecting things from your stash to send, you don't want to send something that your partner doesn't want.

Use a flat-rate small size Priority Mail box (available free from the PO) that costs $4.95 to mail OR Flat Rate envelope. If you weigh your package and it's less expensive to send it first class mail, you can use a plain box that is the same size as the Priority Mail box and send it that way. If you use a padded envelope, it MUST weight at least ONE POUND.

Newbies are welcome to participate in this swap. For veteran swappers, no unexplained 1's or an average below 4.7 will be included in the swap.

SUGGESTION: Even though you're sending items you don't have any use for, please don't send items that no one else would like either!

Hope you have fun participating, and can exchange items you won't use for those you will! Thanks for signing up. Email or PM me with any questions!

Thanks, Ryleighsmom

I believe the flat rate box costs a lot more to ship abroad.

A small flat rate box to international costs the same as the flat rate envelopes...$12.95

CandyStar 02/ 8/2010 #

Yikes. If this swap were US-only, I'd join. $13 is a big difference than $5. Especially for how small the box is :S

It says that it is US only. So now Im cofused was it once internationa and the host read the complaints and changed it or am I just losing my mind;-) Im putting this on my watchlist till I finish my current swap. ;-)

Zauberin 02/ 8/2010 #

it was international, now it's usa only.

I loved HappyMom's swap and am looking for to participating in yours :-)

Yes, it was International only, but I changed it to USA only because of the high shipping costs outside of the states. I'm a newbie at hosting, so I'm sorry for an confusion I might have caused by making the change. Just trying to make it more affordable for us. =)

You DON'T have to use the small Flat rate box. Read these instructions:

Use a flat-rate small size Priority Mail box (available free from the PO) that costs $4.95 to mail OR Flat Rate envelope. If you weigh your package and it's less expensive to send it first class mail, you can use a plain box that is the same size as the Priority Mail box and send it that way. If you use a padded envelope, it MUST weight at least ONE POUND.

Just don't use anything smaller than the small size flat rate box. =)
