It displays "package", however it can easily be flat-mail depending on how you choose to make your strip, and you can always fold it to fit your envelope. I could only select one option so I went with the package, but a package is NOT required.

The strip will be 12" - 14" long, and at least 1.5" wide. You can make the entire strip from either fabrics, papers, or both, and you can add embellishments like charms or decorations. It can be sewn, glued, or both -- it's sender's creative choice.

So, if your not familiar with snippet strips or how to make one there's many tutorials on YouTube and you can look at the sample picture above. They are normally used in creating junk journals but they have other uses as well. You "snip" a portion of the strip to include in your design such as a "belly band", the edge of a page, a pocket, etc. They can be used as a journal closure. You can use snips to design a card, decorate objects, etc. They are fun to make and use.
