ABC: Junque JAMS - DEC ‘22

Anyone else have two of something they'd like used on ATCs? Been saving those odds and ends for something crafty? Now’s the time to use ‘em!

This swap will be for:

  • One Pair of ATC’s or APC’s

  • Sender’s Choice of Starter Set “Theme” (if any)

  • Starter cards do not have to be "identical"

Simply send two (2) sturdy cards along with at least two (2) somethings you'd like used on 'em! Then allow your partner to set their creative minds free!

The “junque” used on these trading cards does not all have to be recycled matter.🌍 However, there should be something upcycled or recycled on each card. Ephemeral items certainly count since they’re originally meant for one-time use. 😉

Please do not use anything perishable or soiled. These cards will be of suitable quality to be collected and/or archived.

  • Remember to include your UserID & the Swap Title.
  • Upon receipt of your Starters, your partner will rate a 5 (five) for creating the set based on the swap details mentioned on our group’s Home page (proper size & sturdy/firm backer)

  • You’re free to use the included items from your partner however you like, and finish the cards by adding 2-3 additional items/techniques to each ATC/APC, then sign/date the back (or add an addy label, if ya got ‘em!).

  • Lastly, send one (1) completed ATC back home to the original artist!

The timeline for how long we may “hold” a set of buddy jams is 30 days. If you’re going to need longer than a month, please let your partner, or myself, know by sending them a direct message.

Feel free to use the discussion section below to let your partner know when you’ve put their “homer” ATC in the mail! 😉

My hope is that this will be an easy-peasy way to collaborate on some amazing ATCs! 😉

Feel free to message me with any questions.

image is my own. i made Heihei on an ATC that’s covered with the inside of a security envelope (junk mail), so it qualifies as junque to jam with in my opinion. You can’t tell from the picture but Heihei has googgly eyes. 🤪

This could be a fun way to use up pieces of our holiday gift wrap...I'd consider that a type of "junque" or ephemera too. Wouldn't you? Isn't the definition of ephemeral items stuff that was meant for single use?

Thoughts anyone?

I have seen beautiful gift wrap that I purchased, not to wrap a gift with, but to use exclusively for craft projects! I think using Christmas gift wrap bits and pieces would be a great idea this time of year!

Thank you for your feedback @PeliKat 😃 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I’m adjusting the dates of this final swap for the year, in observance of New Years and the USPS holidays. These Junque Jams will continue to be hosted quarterly thereafter, as long as we have interest.

I really appreciate all of your participation!
