MJS: Mapgie Penpals Round #1

In the hopes of expanding the group's repertoire a little and making swaps more accessible since postage can be quite expensive (and also hoping to get to know each other better), let's have some fun and become penpals!

For this swap, you'll have 2 penpal partners. You're required to send at least a 2-page letter (typed or handwritten; AT LEAST the fronts of 2 pages written on) to each of your partners. Can't imagine how you'll fill 2 pages about yourself? Well, tell them the basics about you: age, family status, job, hobbies. Then fill it in with some more personal tidbits - as much as you're comfortable - what are your hopes, dreams, fears, aspirations? (These are just ideas - feel free to write whatever you wish to let your partner get to know you!)

If you're so inclined, include some of your art (originals or photos are fine) or writing. Tell them all about your daily routines - let your imagination go wild!

Don't forget to include your mailing address in the letter, as sometimes we forget to save the envelopes!

For some extra fun, you could include a mail tag (check out Pinterest for ideas) or 20 questions questionnaire for your partner.

Now, your partner is NOT obligated to write you back. We're writing these initial letters and releasing them into the universe with the hopes that we will click with someone, but we all know it's hit or miss sometimes. Please don't be disappointed if you don't hear back. Keep trying -we're going to have multiple rounds, so you're bound to find a Magpie penpal.
