PRIVATE: Halloween Party

This is gonna be something different - I want to host an online Zoom Halloween party and you are all invited!

So, if you'd like to participate, join this swap and get ready to have some fun!

The party will be on Thursday, October 29 from 8 - 10 pm, Eastern Time. I will send everyone in the swap an electronic invite email from Zoom as soon as partners are assigned.

You will be putting a special party package together for your partner so that we can have special treats and fun things to share. You must use a box to send this swap - no envelopes - I want to make sure everything arrives safely and there's something special to opening a package.

Decorate the heck out of the outside and inside of the box - stickers, papers, washi on the outside and inside! use confetti, tissue, shreadded paper. Lay your card on top so its the first thing your partner sees.

Inside the box should be:

A handmade or store bought Halloween card with your name, swap name and three Halloween themed jokes WITHOUT the punchlines (you will give these on a note in the bottom of the box)

3 sweet treats for your partner - these can be chocolate bars, small bags of candies, store bought wrapped cookies. These should be full size (the kind you get at the drug store check out counter or the movie theatre box candies) NOT small trick or treat size. PLEASE LIST BELOW ANY CANDY PREFERENCES, LIKES, DISLIKES, ALLERGIES

One brand new Halloween crafting item - a package of stickers, a roll of washi tape, a set of embellishments, All items must be brand new, still in store packaging

One small plush item - should be at least 4" tall, Any cute furry fuzzy stuffed animal that is Halloween themed.

One senders choice handmade item - this can be a blank notecard, an ATC, an ornament, handmade jewelry - anything made by you

On the very bottom of the box, place an envelope containing the answers to the jokes written inside. We will be telling each other these jokes at the party!

Please let your partner know in a message that you have received your package when it arrives but DO NOT OPEN until the night of the 29th

The idea is that we will open our packages on the night of the party - like a reveal event. We will take turns opening them and seeing what our partners have sent. How fun, right!

It is not mandatory that you attend the online party. You cannot rate down your partner if they are unable or choose not to attend. You do not have to RSVP, I will be there anyway with whoever does decide to show.

Please, please please wear a costume of some kind, even if it is just a mask or head gear. I will be giving away an award treat to the best costume (we will all vote) that I will then mail out to that person.
