Description:

It's getting to be that spooky time of the year again!

In this swap, you will be making 1 handmade postcard to send to your partner. The theme is Halloween but the decor is up to you! Use watercolors, mixed media, stamps, ephemera, die cuts, stamps, drawings, or other art supplies to create a Halloween themed postcard. All artistic media is welcome! As always, sticker slapping and all manner of half-assery is not tolerated. Your postcard should look like a mini art piece that someone would be happy to hang up with their Halloween decor. Make something you'd be happy to receive.

A rating of 4.5 is a must for this. If you have an issue, please send me a message and I'll consider it. I'll allow noobies if you have a fully filled out profile (likes, dislikes, and some info about you!). Since this is a postcard, I'm also going to open this up internationally! Please do take a look at your partner's profile and see what preferences they might have. This is sender's choice, but do be considerate and take your partner's dislikes into consideration. Please don't be a Halloweenie and flake out. I can angel, but that doesn't mean that I won't be telling the Great Pumpkin all about what you did. You don't want that, do you?

Hi! Would this be considered a type 3 because it is handmade? I’m new, so not sure???

PrettyAlice 09/ 2/2019 #

I wish I could join but I got one undeserved 3 last year.

@1OldfoolPlanner since it's flat mail, I considered it a 2. Type 3's are usually used when the postage is going to be more expensive. This should just cost you a stamp. :)

send it written & in an envelope?

lockerelf 09/ 8/2019 #

@Jbee that's totally up to you. Some people like them to be sent in envelopes and blank and some people like to receive them written on with postage marks. Whatever you prefer to send is fine.

I e got mine almost ready to go. I’ve been working on it and it’s looking pretty cool so far.
