Button, button, whose got the buttons?

So...low ratings, non senders, and newbies may join? Just a little concerned about a swap with no guidelines. Will you be angeling?

I am a newbie...but i am trustworthy that this will be sent out on time as soon as i get my partner. Its hard to find swaps anyone wants to swap with newbies. I am a trustworth person that makes crafts for a living...thanks for giving me a chance. Laura ann

Yay!!! at last a swap I can join as a really new newbie. It is so difficult to find swaps to join to get the all important rating. I even have a handy tin of buttons. Thank you Ladyfeathers.

As always I will review the persons profile before partners are assigned. I have only ever had one person not send on one of my sponsored swaps. They were banned after the swap started, and someone came forward without my asking as an angel.
10 buttons isn't that big of a deal. If newbies aren't able to ever join any swaps how will they get to be non newbies? Everyone deserves a chance to starte somewhere. Sign up and ENJOY!!!!!!

Boy I'm excited! Not only a swap that I can do as a super new newbie, but also a swap I am well equipped to do! I have two shoeboxes full of buttons, mostly old vintage ones!

Well my button swap is ready to go. Thought it would be better to get it done whilst I am still on leave from work. Now all I need is a name and address, to go with my very first swap.

I love buttons too. As a child my mom always let me play with her button tin when I was sick. It is on my kitchen table now and my daughter went nuts over it. Oh I remember this one and this one, wasn't this on ...... sorta like my quilt made from all my kids old clothes.

This sound like so much fun. I agree with the newbies because I am still pretty new myself although I have participated in a few swaps. I am joining because I want to help some newbies get started just as other helped me.

I love button too. One of my very foundest memories is playing in my grandmother's button box.

I'm a newbie and would love some unique buttons. I'm just starting to make sock dolls, little stuffed animals made from socks with buttons for eyes, so I can always use buttons, especially small ones, or unique ones.

Wow! Aada I have to agree...and I have to admit I laughed.

I played the game growing up and play it with my kids. "Button Button who has the Button" is about as common as "Ring Around the Rosy" or "Kick the Can".

Sorry DaCraft you are very polite and kind, but you simply can't hold copyright/ownership of that name. :D Good luck with your swap.

I'm very new here but not new to swapping (I've done over 80 with another group I belong to) so I was glad to find a small swap that allowed newbies. This will be great as I have lots of buttons to pick from and can't wait to see what I receive.

Heck, I have had my swaps copied before, really no problem. Sometimes we just think alike.

Hi, I made the deadline, yeah I have just started collecting buttons so this is a great swap for me.. I have great ratings and no nosends. I am a cross stitcher so they will come in handy as I make lots of biscornu.-And I have picked out my buttons to send.

I love...love...love all kinds of buttons. I have two huge jars of them that my grandchildren grew up with! I'm going to pick some out for this swap now! I'm not a newbie. However, I remember how difficult it was to find swaps to build my ratings! WELCOME NEWBIES!!!! If need by, I can angel, too!

I love vintage buttons, too, gillman as well as any type of really pretty buttons. Cute button are okay, but I love the more sophistocated looking buttons.

I have a collection of buttons, and I do use them to make chunky jewelry. So metal, or unusual buttons. Or.....small flatish buttons for ATCs. Or.... medium sized plain 2 hole buttons for my tidy towels that I crochet. Any color if fine. Or............send what you have. I will find a use for them. Thanks. I can angel.

Wow... even "discussions" on the name of what is supposed to be a fun swap. Unless either of you have that title copyrighted, which I doubt, it doesn't matter who calls what what. Just my 2 cents worth. I mailed my package today, even tho it won't go out till Monday.

okay well what happens if someone does not send ? is that is what is known as a flake ? and if so what happens to their rating ? I am asking in case my partner does not send cause this has happened before in another type thing i was a part of and nothing was done to them and they were still allowed to participate in the whole thing . Just wondering .

There is a holiday in the U.S. It is a national holiday Martin Luther King Day. My email bit the dust after I emailed everyone so I lost any replies you might of sent to me. Please email me again if you had. If after the swap is over you haven't received your buttons, IM me and we will straighten it out. You will get buttons from someone I promise!

I didn't receive my swap. First time this has happened on Swap-bot. :(

I didn't get mine either... my partner marked "sent" but later messaged me to say they hadn't had a chance to mail it yet but would soon... I still haven't seen anything... :(

I still never received anything. My partner got two more "1" ratings after mine, but now someone left them a "5" rating. So they apparently are back, but they never even had the courtesy to E-mail me and let me know what was going on. Very disappointing.
