For this swap, you will create 3 Jane Davenport Themed ATCs--1 for each partner. JD has beautiful images to stamp, wonderful papers to collage, books on drawing whimsical women, mermaids...the possibilities are limitless...Have fun!

Hey Kathryn! Itโ€™s been way too long since Iโ€™ve done one of your swaps. I love JD and her work. Can this be a drawing or painting inspired by her work or do we need to use one of her stamps or collage papers in the ATCโ€™s. I have her washi and pens and paints and mermaid pens but no stamps or collages though Iโ€™m happy to have a reason to go buy some! LOL!

Iโ€™m in the same boat (lots of papers, paints, etc) so Iโ€™ve hand drawn the girls based on JDs style (huge eyes, tiny mouth/chin, etc,) as I have the face rub-ons but theyโ€™re actually pretty big for an ATC so I had to get creative. Plus you canโ€™t watercolor over the tattoos.

Itโ€™s definitely been a challenge for me, which I love because I love JD. ;) Hopefully our fearless swap leaders agrees with our approach. I would love to have regularly scheduled JD and Dina Wakely swaps!
