Helena: if you live in the Northern hemisphere, there are also the flowers and buds that open where you are and the first migratory birds returning. Then there are March hares, the ides of March, March winds, Nowruz (Persian new year), Lent (Christian fast), equinox and Holi (Hindu festival of fire and colours).
