Description:

For this swap, we're gonna stuff a flat-rate priority mail padded envelope full of craft items that you are no longer using. Now, this is not for scraps of paper or broken things that should make their way to the recycle bin, this is for quality crafting items that you either have way too much of or no longer have a use for. Items you should include are clean, untorn ephemera (vintage or new) except NO magazine cut-outs or any free advertising items please (unless they are vintage). embelishments, ribbon, washi tapes, game pieces, tags and labels, scrapbook papers, rubber stamps. Please not Holiday items unless your swap partner specifically asks for them. If you are a smoker, please consider putting a dryer sheet in your package to help with the smell. You will have one week to complete this swap, so you can start putting together items for your swap now. This is not profile specific, but be sure to check out your partners dislikes. Due to size and weight, this swap is US addresses only. You must have a rating of 4.95 with no ones and no recent or unexplained 3's. I reserve the right to remove anyone from the swap that I feel does qualify. You must have also completed and been rated for at least 20 type three swaps and have a fully filled-out profile. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. You can request the padded envelopes from the USPS website (they are free of charge)

My envi is going to be busting at the seams, I have sooooo much stuff that I don't use anymore

I have a lot of yellow padded envelopes at home , various sizes Do they qualify? What size is the right one?

Rabbitfreedom 07/19/2016 #

Hi petaluda, it has to be the plastic padded 9.5" x 12.5" envelope that is a flat rate priority mail rate. It costs $6.80 and can be stuff till it's about to burst at the seams. The paper ones can't be filled that much so cannot be used for this swap. You should be able to get these either at your post office or from USPS online store.

I've already been putting my envelope together. It's so full I don't think it can fit anything else, yet I keep trying to add more! I'm excited for this swap, hopefully whoever my partner is enjoys and is able to use what I'm sending! :)

I've gathered all the things I want to stuff in the envelope already, but I have to wait for the envelope to be shipped out to me because none of the post offices carry any, which is annoyingly frustrating! =( I'm really excited for this swap though!
