Description:

You are required to send to one partner something you have handmade. The possibilities are endless...maybe you are good at knitting and could make your partner a pair of socks, or sewing, crafting, drawing/art....you get the idea! Feel free to send more goodies to aim for hearts.

I'm setting the price limit at $10.00. A lot of us have stuff already at home that we can use so you might not have to spend anything but lets not go over $10.00. Doesn't matter what it is or how big or how small it is--as long as it's handmade by you! Nothing store bought!

This is senders choice--does not have to be profile based. Rate your partner a 5 if you recieved something handmade even if you don't care for it or won't use it and remember that your partner took the time and effort to make you something. I think handmade gifts are the best--I love seeing people's talents! All participants must have a score of 5. No exceptions. No newbies in this one sorry! This is international.

Deadline to send out is December 18th. Be sure to include your swap bot username and the name of the swap so your partner can rate you!

For a handmade-by-swapper swap, I'd think it more important to set guidelines about time, not so much money spent. Especially about the lower limit - it is still OK to make just one inchie in five minutes spending nothing, as far as I can understand the swap description.

As an example, I think I have been in a handmade-by-you swap where it was stated that one should spend about two hours of crafting. That would be a clear guideline for this type of swap.

Thank you for your suggestion. Honestly--I cannot personally make something that would take me 2 hours to do. There are several people that are good at paper crafts and they don't take 2 hours to do. Each handmade item will probably take a different time to make so I'm not going to set a time limit. This is senders choice--keep in mind if you spend hours on a blanket or something that you might not get back a blanket in return.

This is swap is about making something for someone that you enjoy making/you are good at.

OMG - I made two different items for two swaps. In my rush to get the first one out, I scooped up the wrong item and sent to that partner. The package I mailed today has an item, while made by me, that does not meet the cost requirement. OMG. I will contact her now.

WOO HOO - Second package is on it's way to Australia for a total of $23++ in postage.

Oh goodness! So sorry! Sometimes international swaps can be pricey--I try not to do too much of them!
