The After Halloween Altered Cigar Box Swap

The altered Cigar box swaps are always one of my favorite swaps on swap bot. I am in love with storage boxes of any kind and I like the fact that you can use the boxes to decorate and store things at the same time. I leave my decorated cigar boxes up all year around and use them to hold all those little odds and ends that we get.

I also thought that this would be a wonderful way for us to get rid of some of our left over candy or to find some great Halloween after holiday goodies. You will have only one partner who you will need to decorate a cigar box or something similar in size and fill it up with anything Halloween related for this swap unlike previous swaps you can use left over Halloween Candy that you have from after Halloween as well as any other halloween related goodies. Please make sure that you fill it up really well with handmade or store bought items that have a Halloween theme. Please put your best effort into decorating your box for your partner, you want to give them something that they will want to put on display for years to come. There are some great ideas online, if you Google Halloween cigar box you will see some super examples.

Wood or heavy cardboard cigar boxes are both fine. Just as long as it is a good sturdy box that won't fall apart and as long as it is a regular cigar box size or bigger. If you can't get any cigar boxes for free, most craft stores have wood boxes that are the same size that are very inexpensive.

There is no spending amount but please only send what you would love to receive. Do not send dirty, damaged items. Handmade and store bought items are both welcome! Michaels, Jo Anns and Target have great $1 - $3 sections and usually starting the end of August they start getting Halloween items in.
