Let's share our lace-making dreams! I am a beginning-level tatter and crocheter, and sometimes look at amazing patterns with an "I'd love to, but I don't think I could ever do that!" reaction. Let's share some of those insecurities with our group members, and perhaps gain some inspriation to make an attempt. Choose a pattern that you love, but are nervous to attempt for some reason. Then, spend just 30 minutes TRYING to begin the pattern. Mail your partner a letter telling about your experience - share an image of what the pattern would look like finished (or the pattern itself, if you like). No need to finish, no pressure to get it right. Feel free to fail miserably! Who wants to give it a try?

So we are not actually sending the lacework? Just sharing the experience? Interesting! Hmmm, now what to try. Needs researching.
