Moms Helping Moms #11 – Tummy Time

This swap is for all Moms and Moms to Be (Adoptive Moms Welcome!) Now that babies sleep on their backs primarily, tummy time is advised for babies to prevent flat spots on their heads, strengthen muscles and provide baby relief from being on their back all the time. Some babies love tummy time, others hate it!

Expectant Moms:

Send a letter to your swap partner outlining when you are due. What do you have planned for Tummy Time? What room will you use? Do you have a special playmat or quilt for baby to have tummy time on? Do you expect issues? Has anyone given you advice for tummy time?

Moms (Adoptive New Moms Welcome!):

Let your partner know a bit about your baby. How do you approach tummy time? How long does Baby like to be on her belly? Does she complain? What room will you use? Do you have a special playmat or quilt for baby to have tummy time on? Any toys reserved for tummy time?? Has anyone given you advice for tummy time?
