I'm 22. I'm single. I'm queer. I have four tattoos. A mermaid on my leg in memory of my father, a raven on my left arm, signifying death and birth, the end and the beginning, battle and strength. I have a bow and arrow above my heart to remind myself to fall in love whenever and wherever I can. I have a vesica piscis on my right arm, among other reasons, to remind myself of a trip my family took to Glastonbury seven years ago.

I'm a writer. I do archery. I dabble in art. I'm trying to teach myself to play guitar. I have three cats and a dog. I just got my first car. I will always deny that I'm a hopeless romantic. Secretly I believe in love at first sight.

I love giving gifts. Christmas is my favorite season because of that. I'm really excited about this whole thing because it means I get to make things that I wouldn't normally make. I need to keep busy and creative, and this is such a great idea! :D

Drawing, some painting, decoupage, collage, book making, assorted paper craft, some papermaking, sewing, etc.

Colors: Purple. My room is dark and light purple. I'm also a fan of ocean blues and aqua.

Scents: Lilac, lavender, sandalwood... I don't like really strong scents as a rule, but my favorite perfume is Opium. I generally prefer simple scents, natural is best.

Teas: I like fruity tea. There's a Republic of Tea flavor that was made for winter and discontinued that I loved called Tea of Good Tidings... a black tea with juniper berries, orange peel, cranberries, cloves, rose petals, almonds, vanilla, black currants, blackberry leaves, cardamom seeds. Sweet mother of god is it good.

Animals: Crows and ravens. I simply ADORE them. I also like cats, and though they technically aren't animals, I like mermaids.

Random: I obsessively collect journals and stationary. Right now, I have too many journals and too few stationaries. I like paths. See my livejournal header for an example. I like pictures of forest paths, or nature paths of almost any kind. I'm a wandery sort of person.

I'm not comfortable with the commonly accepted words, for the most part. I have a very strong affinity for and bond with crows and ravens. I believe in the metaphysical properties of stones and crystals, my favorites of which are labradorite, lepidolite, moonstone and quartz variations.

I like incense, but only a few scents; sandalwood, sage, cedar, clove and Moldavite. Sometimes, patchouli or nag champa. The other scents give me a headache, especially sweet ones.

I have a tarot deck, and really, more than new decks, tips would be appreciated. It's something I want to try out, and while I have plenty of instruction books, something personal that works for you would be more meaningful. Some arrangement or something you favor.

I have runes. Or had. My cats lost three of them on me. :P Hope to find them when I clean.

Candles would be fab. Tea-lights, votives or a pillar candle are always appreciated. I could use a holders for tapers. I don't like scented candles.

I'm not big into Halloween, as is celebrated by six year old kids. I'm not too well versed in samhain, etc.

I don't have much interest in creating a shrine or an altar. What I'd be interested in are stones and crystals, the more obscure or interesting the better. Please include the name of the stone, so I can look it up. :D Candles. Incense. Herbs. Bags to be used for tarot or carting around the stones. xD
