I live on a homestead in TN w/ my hubbie and 2yr-old son. I have an etsy shop for my jewelry, and am curretly teaching myself to sew. I've dabbled in cross-stitch and knitting. I've have a minor obessiuon with turtles, hedgehogs, and the color aqua/turquoise/teal.

I have a pretty strong aversion to lime green... love all of the other shades of green though.

THINGS I LIKE (in no particular order): turtles (not cartoony), vintage patterns (esp ones that work for plus sizes), ballerina flats, hedgehogs, patchwork, MSL, zakka, aprons, old buttons, saris, carnelian, copper, orange kitchen stuff, art from the black apple, mahar dry goods, mailorder, skeleton keys, typewriters, hummingbirds, dia de los muertos, sugar skulls, peacocks, belly dance

THINGS I DON'T WANT: bath stuff, scented candles, polyester, acrylic, christmasy santa type stuff, fleece

As for yarn I tend to prefer natural fibers such as superwash woolens, bamboo, and cotton. I'm also slowly building a collection of Rowan Summer Tweed. I can't stand acrylic or novelty yarns.
