I live in Bangalore, India, with my husband, and two sons.

Travel, music, books, and writing are my favourite things to do.

Travel, not to check sightseeing boxes, but stay longer to really feel and experience a place. So I love anything that says 'local'. So every year, or some times, alternate years, I take off on my own to a new country. I believe we all need time by ourselves to explore and find what we need to. These travels have been some of the best experiences! We also travel as a family :).

Sci fi, noir, detective series, vintage humour and fantasy are top of the reading list. Must admit I'm not a big fan of new age literature (does that tell how old I am :)?) But I have discovered some wonderful writers in the last decade.

Nuts about wide open spaces and mountains and valleys. But I don't get to do much of that, living in a city, working, and really busy for most of the year. I work in reaching education to those that do not have easy access to it.

Hobbies. I started Postcrossing about 2 years ago, and so loved the idea of connecting with people all over the world, with a handwritten note. That's what led me to Swap-bot, and I'm amazed at the variety and creativity of the connect-up ideas here. So, yes, I am partial to postcard swaps as of now :).

I used to 'craft' a lot when I was a kid, but the habit dropped off. I'm picking back up slowly now, so I'd love to participate in simple crafty swaps as well!

Once I commit, I'm super prompt at sending my swaps along the way. Am sure I have a lot to learn about adding those extra special touches to a swap that will make the recipient smile! Getting there!
