I have been working as a midwife here in Arizona for the past 26 years so of course I love anything about mothers and babies. But really, I just love handmade, personal objects of all kinds, Love beading--love seeing what comes from inside other people. I joined with my 11 year old daughter Tevia ( I have 3 older daughters no longer at home) so we can create art to share with others. My dear husand of 33 years humors me with this. Because I am busy with life, I will only take on a few swaps so I can always follow through.

I enjoy all kinds of music. Often I don't even know who the artist is, but always know if i like it :) I grew up in Wyoming on country music, but spent my formative years on rock. My husband has an extensive collection of electronic music that I find beautiful. Even my 11 year old has her tween music that I can mostly enjoy.

I must have a book going at all times or I feel lost with my spare time! I enjoy books about people. Nothing too sad or scarey or sappy. Really can't get into Oprah's book list. Just love books that give another perspective on life. I joined a book club to push myself to sample other tastes and that has been fun. Light reads are great as well as classics. Some recent reads--The Stolen Child, Addition, Monique and the Mango Rain, Edgar Sawtelle. Absolutely loved Three Cups of Tea and Stones into Schools!

I enjoy fun and entertaining movies. No scarey or depressing ones! Because I have a young daughter, I see alot of PG movies! When I can, I can get into a good classic or foriegn movies. Dance movies are often very fun. Don't mind a good action movie with my husband either.

OK, I confess I enjoy a few reality shows... Amazing Race, So you think you can dance and Survivor are my favorites. Nothing like Flava of love, thank you. Old movies can be great occassionally. And I can get into Home shows-- cooking and decorating. ( guess that is why I am here at swap-bot)

Love beaded things. And items that are unusual. I like art and crafts that are made from earthy and more organic materials. I do love to see what other people have in their creative brains! I love photos of people and places that are a bit out of the box. Abstract art can be really fun. I really enjoy things that have an edge or a bit of a surprise in them. Things that one has put some thought into!

I will always try to personalize items that I send if I can. I love to hand make items and truely look forward to the responses I get. It is so rewarding if people enjoy the things one creates!
