ABOUT MY PERICARDITIS

The last week of September I was in the cardiac unit at my local hospital with something called pericarditis. It is an inflammation around the lining of my heart. It causes shortness of breath and chest pain. I was on oxygen and anti-inflammatory medication. I am Home now. I have to take it easy for a few weeks. It was scary but the worst of it is over

My sweet dog Boo Boo---

In September my Pomeranian went to the Rainbow Bridge (to Heaven). His heart was enlarged and he lived a long life. I miss him dearly.

• learning how to make mini albums

I dabble in some other crafts but for now I do mostly paper related things. I LOVE PAPER!

My favorite themes are BUTTERFLIES, DRAGONFLIES, GIRLY, LIGHTHOUSES, and LADYBUGS.

I love wildlife themes and flower things too.

• flat flowers, rub-ons, sentiment stickers, page flags, tiny shaped paperclips, etc.

• Ribbon, lace, trim, flat pearls and rhinestones or old jewelry findings. Things for flower centers.

• Pearl sprays, metal charms, bling rolls, pearl string on a roll-- for altering items, head pins and lobster clasps for making charms.

• Pink, Blue, Purple are my favorite colors but I am not picky. I love pretty much everything.

• I love STICKERS!! (no reward or teacher ones) but I love all stickers even loose ones and I never have enough. LOL

• FOREVER STAMPS (un-used for mailing) also International stamps, and post card stamps

• washi tape rolls and samples (cute colors and pastels) I use it on everything!

• anything you make by hand. I love to see what people create.

• I love hot chocolate all flavors are awesome!

• Decaf teas- Love most flavors, just NO Green tea. Spiced or Vanilla Chai is okay.

• I also like the individual Tea and Honey packets for iced tea.

• Regular Caf tea is okay if you don't have decaf .

• Hot Apple Cider is great too.

• I don't really like coffee I drink vanilla latte when I go to Starbucks. (Yes, I am a Foo Foo coffee drinker and I admit it) LOL

  (Due to my Lupus skin issues I do not use these)

• Candy or chocolates (I am an Insulin Dependent Type 2 Diabetic)

• earrings as I have let my holes close due to constant infections

Due to my medical issues and some severe allergies I must be careful about certain things.

I am very very allergic to wool

so if anyone makes something (knit or crochet) it cannot be made of wool or have wool fiber in it.

I am also extremely allergic to cat hair.

I do know that sometimes a stray hair may get in... As long as you make an effort to keep hairs to a minimum I am happy.

Having a chronic illness is stressful. Because I have Lupus, Type 2 Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Liver Disease and a few other issues I live with daily symptoms:

• short term memory/concentration issues

• falling easily and fragile bones

• seizures and migraines

• liver and kidney issues

• nausea and vertigo

• depression

Swap-bot is my way of feeling connected to the outside world and having a social outlet. I have made many new friends and enjoyed being creative.
