Hello everybody! My name is Susie and I'm 22 years old. I'm currently attending Arizona State University with a major in Art History. I'm a TOTAL book worm. I'm always reading several books at a time, and I spend most of my time/money in book stores... I teach private music lessons to kids and I love it! :) I also work for an organization that helps Native Americans.

My other activities include: reading, playing the upright bass, making boys cry on Halo 2 & 3, experiencing all different kinds of music, laughing, collecting cats, crocheting and knitting like a granny, listening to records on my record player, journaling, ripping/cutting things out of magazines, pointing out historical inaccuracies, growling at little kids, singing along to classical music, mixing up my words/letters, collecting postcards, pondering existentialism, using out-dated slang, analyzing literature for fun, being shy or chatty, enjoying being a bibliophile, learning for learning's sake... among other things :)

My favorite band is Nine Inch Nails!! I'm also a big fan of Apocalyptica, Tarkan, Rammstein, and Grandaddy. I LOVE classical music, and that's pretty much what I listen to the most... My favorite composers include Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Dvorak, Bizet, Chopin, Sibelius... (mainly Romantic era)

but I also listen to the usual rock, pop, jazz etc. And some weird stuff like arabic/turkish pop and bluegrass hahaha.. I'll give most anything a chance :)

Wow, where to start.... I am always reading, and I have way too many books for my small house. I like to read books about history (non-fiction and some fiction), science, philosophy (especially existentialism), novels with some kind of meaning, classics.... I love anything by Ian McEwan, Richard Dawkins, Amy Tan... and many more. Some favorite books include The Hours, The Human Stain, Atonement, The Count of Monte Cristo, Hamlet, poems by Sylvia Plath, T. S. Eliot, and poems/plays by Shakespeare, The Stranger, Heart of Darkness, The Invisible Man... There are so many I can't type this out coherently!

I also love Monty Python's Flying Circus and I Love Lucy!! (I collect Lucy stuff)

I like a lot of things, here's a few: - art (my favorite artist is Frida Kahlo, but any art will do!) - history (especially Roman, English, and Polish, but I like ALL history) - all different kinds of tea!!! and anything tea related (cups, saucers, pots etc) - total book junkie! i love bookmarks too :) - yarn and anything knitted/crocheted - anything w/ cats - notebooks/daries/journals - my favorite colors are black, white, and red, but i'm not picky - hair stuff (i have very long hair and like to dress it up sometimes :P)

There aren't many things I don't like, but please no: - new age/religious things - racist/sexist/homophoic etc things (obviously)
