i am an 18 year old student from London (le Big Smoke) and i'm soon to start my course in anthropology & media at goldsmiths university. i have red hair now (unlike in my profile pic) and i have a huge fluffy black cat called Dracula. i think snail mail is beautiful and i've always enjoyed sending my friends letters and packages. i got v. excited when i came across this site cos I've always wanted to post things all around da world. plus i need something to do with my time other than smoking cigs and sleepin'...

i LOVE :

handwritten letters, postcards, teabags, magazine clippings and articles, recipes, books, sweets and ramen, candles, stickers, jewelry, trinkets, foreign stamps.... et cetera, et cetera!

political or music-related ephemera hits me right in the dopamine receptors. anything animal related will make me smile so much. i love art, especially that which is subversive, international or just really pretty. my other interests include the USSR, propaganda, graffiti and slogans, the supernatural, 2000s internet culture, psychology and philosophy.

my favourite films include: eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, trainspotting, star wars, lost in translation, and the blair witch project. i also love limmy's show, fleabag, people just do nothing, and the office UK (not USA, show me mercy....)

my favourite book is the wasp factory by iain ( can never remember how to spell that) banks. a close 2nd is metamorphosis by kafka :D

i'm into a wide range of music and i'd love to exchange recommendations! anything jazz, piano, shoegaze, dance, punk rock or electronic.

writing is my greatest passion. i make my own zine and i have always written short stories and poems. it would make my day (year) to receive a zine in the mail, or literature of any kind.

i WOULD be happy to receive controversial or religious items as i am v. interested in different ideologies (i'm a marxist). so i don't mind 'weird' stuff comin thru the door! however i won't send you anything of this nature unless it says in your bio that it's O.K. B-)

i don't have any allergies; as for personal taste, i love spiced, citrus, and floral flavours. my top 3 colours are black, red, and green, and i adore flowers and insects.

i'd find adverts boring so i don't want anything too promotional. :(((( also i don't like anime or kpop. >:((

be generous in your post and i will too! i'll make my swaps as fancy as can be. as for received post, any xtra posters, bits 'n' pieces, lil scraps etc i would love to blu tack on my bedroom wall. i wanna hear about what makes you happy, your pets and what it's like living in your community. i'd love to learn about other languages and i cant wait 2 write 2 yous lot :) x

LASTLY,,,,,, to avoid 'technical difficulties' with the sluggish postal service, would u mind sending everything in an envelope, even if it's just a postcard? cool beans.
