Sorry I repeated myself. My memory is so bad that I don't remember who I've told what. I guess I should have read my previous comment. Adam is avoiding me because he doesn't want to hear about Jack. His dog is getting old. He is 13 this year I believe. Maybe 12. His dog is like his baby.
It has been a rough year for our pets. We started out with 7 (8 if you count George Cooney). Now we have 4. We got them all around the same time and they're just getting old and breaking down. The youngest pets we have are Johnny and Willie and they will be 11 in August. Mr. Bob was the oldest a 16. Jack was 13.5 and the vet said the mixture of breeds that he was (I don't know what they are, but they were big whatever they were) live to a maximum of 10 years, so he was 3.5 years over the maximum life span for those breeds. He still had 4 bullets in him from when he got shot up as a puppy. Who does that to a puppy? It's sad when I go to take a smoke break and he's not there to say "Hi Jack" to. Get it? I always thought it was funny. I kind of hated him for killing George and trying to kill Wille, but I do miss him. :(

Our dog Jack was really sick over the past few days and he lost his ability to walk on Sunday. We had to put him down on Monday. That's the 3rd pet this year that has passed. They all came to us within the past 13 to 16 years. Jack was 13. The vet said he just broke down due to old age. He said the type of breeds that Jack was (he was a mutt; not sure what kind he was) usually die around 10 years old. Jack had 4 bullets still lodged in him from where he was shot as a pup when my sister found him and saved his life. He was also scared of cigarettes. I couldn't smoke around him. Someone had seriously abused him when he was little. He had a good life with us. I'm still mad that he murdered George Cooney, but I'm sad that Jack is gone. On his final day, we put him on dad's side of the garage. He crawled over to Johnny Cash's kennel. I guess he didn't want to be alone. I'm sure Johnny reached out of his kennel to pet and try to comfort Jack. That's how he do. I have sweet boys. I'll end my novel. Love you.
Thank you for the St. Augustine lighthouse postcard. I'd really like to go there one day. That's great that you climbed to the top of the lighthouse!
