I just finished my second quilt top and have it on the hoop to start hand quilting. It is called "The Winter Pines". There is a picture of the top as my profile picture. It has 20 different green trees in blocks. The first quilt I did about 12 years ago was a wall hanging of baskets. Whew, burnt my fingertips. Didn't know what I was getting into but it is beautiful. I am hooked on quilting and would love to make a friendship quilt with squares from all over the world.

I have been crocheting for over 40 years and can make just about anything there is. I crochet and use the kniffty knitter to make hats and blankets for 2 area neonatal units.

I also love to do counted cross stitch and have been doing it for 30 years. I made "Celtic Christmas" and she is hanging here in the living room. I also have "Flower Power" in progress.

I am a 53 year old Christian woman and very active in my church. I also work with the NC Baptist Association going to other churches as a lay worker and work with children for the Lay Ministry Program. We have certain themes for 5 different weekend and I come up with crafts, games, stores, and activities for each weekend.

I work in a Podiatrists office here in NC. I am married and have 5 children and 6 grandchildren that all live in other states.

We have 2 bishon frishes for our dogkids and they are spoilt rotten.

I also love to garden in the summertime. I have lots of flowers and have a small Koi pond. We have a pontoon boat that we keep at the area lake and enjoy that all summer long. I also love to go to the beach.

My house is decorated in Victorian. Lots of pastel colors, lace, and flowers. I collect Victorian dolls.

I enjoy listening to Michael Buble, Kenny G, soft rock, and love songs. My husband is the dancer of the family.

NCIS, 24, HOUSE, and CSI are my favorite shows. But when they are not on I usually have DYI, HGTV, History Channels, or Discovery channels on.

I really enjoy readying historical novels, mysteries, and romantic novels. I don't read as much as I would like as I am crafting instead. I also love to read the Amish novels that are out now.

My favorite colors is pastels. I love lavenders light to dark, mauves light to dark, sage greens, light pinks, light peach, creams, light blues, pale yellows, white on white, etc. I also like small and medium florals, and small stripes. Just think Victorian and you have got it. I like black on black prints or small black florals,

I like:

• flower gardens, plants that smell good like lavender, rosemary, eucyluptus (sp)....
• steak, shrimp, lobster, crab legs....
• hot weather, the beach, swimming....

I dislike:

• lying...
• making barbie doll clothes
• winter weather-40+ years of it
• weeds in my flower gardens
