Hello from the Pacific Northwest!

I love Vintage items! I am trying mixed media collages right now--using vintage paper and embellishments. I make handmade cards too. Don't scrapbook anymore but have lots of supplies to get rid of! Love old embroidery patterns to put on Pillowcases. Love to upcycle old items and make them shabby and pretty.
I have tons of old supplies to SWAP---I buy them everywhere and can't seem to stop bringing things home from the antique or thrift stores! My fave mags are SOMERSET LIFE, VICTORIA (discontinued) and COUNTRY LIVING magazines.

I'm in my early 40's and I live in the Seattle area. We live out in the country and I love the shabby chic style. I'm very laid back---doesn't take alot to make me happy--a good book (or my Nook), a sunset or sitting out on the deck in the sunshine outside with a glass of wine and the barbeque going make me very happy! A day of thrifting, antiquing or crafting with my girlfriends makes the perfect day.

The older I've become, the more I want to get back in touch with my creative side I had as a child so that's why I adore swapping supplies and trying new art techniques!

My passion is my crafting and collecting hobbies. I have a whole room dedicated to my crafting and collecting. I love to antique and junk at the flea markets or estate sales. I also attend alot of live auctions for great bargains on antiques and vintage furniture. I sell vintage Ledger Paper and Vintage Craft Items on Etsy and Ebay.

I've done some swaps with Paper Crafts until they cancelled them and then found Swap-Bot.

I love to READ and love all types of books, True Crime, Drama, I just read the The Glass Castle which was a true story/biography about human struggle...love those! Echoes, Light A Penny Candle and anything by Maive Binchy. Just got a NOOK and love it!

I love old HOLLYWOOD movies like: Mildred Pierce, Whatever happened to Baby Jane, any Betty Davis Movie and vintage black and white movies on TMC but I also like weird movies like Silence of the Lambs, Dead Man Walking, Rivers Edge, The Dinner Party, Sundance or IFC movies. My tastes are all over the board!
