Oh I can't complain. We took a family trip to Emerald Pointe. Its a water park here where we live. Then we also went to the beach. This is really the most we've done as far as family trips this year. Its been hot here for months. High and mid 90s with the nights running around high 70s. Blah! Ill be so glad to see fall come in! My husband and I are taking a vacation for a week at the end of september. I so can't wait! Its a couples retreat so we will be kid free :)

Yea I hate that! Makes you wonder how they keep on writing when its the same crap over and over lol!! So anyway, has your summer been? Do anything fun?
Yes iff I'm not mistaken there are 9 books out now? I was able to find all of them at my local library :) You should check there too. The only bad thing though is the books seem to have the same type of "drama" in book after book. So by book 6 I just couldn't read anymore lol. So I took a break then came back to it. :)
Hi you! Thanks for the True Blood recommendation - it really does look great and I was able to watch the first episode until my borrowed DVD wouldn't play anymore. I need to just go buy it. I do like Spokane, mainly because most of my family is here or close by. Downtown is pretty - Riverfront Park downtown on the river is beautiful and a fun place to hang out. I travel to Seattle/Tacoma/Vancouver (Washington) fairly often for work and just love how green it is over there though and imagine it has to be similar in your area (all that water!-love it) :). I have lots of family living in and from Canada - my grandmother's family immigrated to Canada from Italy and many are still there. My great uncle was the mayor of Trail for many years (Buddy DeVito). Have you lived on the island your whole life? Do you love it?

Hi Raelene! Thanks for the 5! I'm horrified of planes and boats lol. I'm a big worrier. Its the "what ifs" that scare me lol. I really enjoyed the novels that the true blood series is based on. I only watched season 1 but the tv program is so different from the books! :D

I've always wanted to visit Vancouver Island, Vancover and Victoria - I'm just a day trip away in Eastern Washington (Spokane). I can just imagine how beautiful it would be on the island. I also love (and I mean really love) Dexter and am counting down the days until Season 4 comes out on DVD (August 17th) and then we're just a short wait away for Season 5. Season 4 was my favorite and oh so intense. I'm a little nervous about Season 5 now. :) I've just discovered crewel embroidery through collecting vingate crewel owl pictures and love it. I got my first vintage kit from Goodwill Friday and hope to give it a try soon. It was fun reading your profile - you seem like someone I would get along with very much :).
