I'm a work-from-home mom to a 3 year old (who lives and breathes star wars) and 7 year old swimmer. My hubby is my best friend. I am a die-hard New Orleans Saints fan and LSU tiger fan.

As a mom, I spend most of my time carpooling kids (it always seems I have a few extras), cooking or grilling (much nicer than heating up the kitchen), or just cleaning house. We are trying to eat low carb, but in the South--that gets tricky! I'm a sucker for any recipe I can toss in the crock pot and not think about again!

Sewing, sewing, sewing for the kids, for myself, funky plushies, home dec if I have to, crafts and fun toys. Scrapbooking is another favorite. I also make cards, use fancy papers to fold gift boxes, do some beading and a do a little knitting. I stenciled tee-shirts for the first time just the other day!

Instrumental Soundtracks: Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, etc; anything but the wiggles and hanna montana!

we don't really watch as we don't have time. oh wait, except football (american). I love the fall!

cayenne red, royal purple, old gold, fleur de les, cajun food, chocolate (dark or with peanut butter is my fav), vintage sewing books and supplies, i love to surround myself with simple, clean beautiful things. my hubby is more of a traditionalist, nothing country.

We have a fun table setting for every season. Right now, we are skipping over Valentines and decorating with lots of purple, green and gold. It's Mardi Gras!
