Hello! My name is Heather and I live in Illinois, USA with my husband and little boy. I'm 43 and love postcards and papercrafts! Recently I've learned to make junk journals. I don't know where that has been all of my life! I've been on Postcrossing off and on for many years and have always been curious about swapbot because who doesn't love happy mail??

FAVORITES

Here are a few of my favorite things!

Ephemera: I love all little scraps of ephemera and die cuts, especially vintage. But anything pretty and feminine I love as well (flowers, butterflies, birds, pretty colors, etc.)!

Paper scraps: I can use all different sizes of paper and scraps. I use them to journal, make envelopes and decorate my junk journals.

Postcards: I love postcards! I like them written and stamped OR unwritten in an envelope! I use them for trading and journaling and for collecting. Here are some of my favorite themes, but really, I am not picky at all.

• mother with her baby (people or animals)
• babies/children (photo or painting)
• butterflies
• flowers
• hearts
• beach/ocean/sea/waves
• Any animals (especially cats, birds, elephants, cows, marine animals, tigers and other big cats)
• art cards (Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Classicism, Neoclassicism, Mannerism, etc.)
• scenes from the Bible
• people reading or writing
• hot air balloons
• coffee/tea (coffee, tea, cups, pots, etc.)
• weather related (lightning, storms, tornadoes, etc.)
• Marilyn Monroe
• beautiful city or country scene (single view, please)
• city at night
• roadside attractions (the quirkier the better!)
• I have a newfound appreciation for retro motel cards. Those out-dated roadside motels with their funky decor - I love them! Retro restaurants, too!

Stickers: I love stickers! Especially flower or butterfly stickers. But I love all kinds and if I can't use them, my little boy loves to add stickers to his journal, too!

Notecards/Stationery: I love blank pretty notecards and stationery! I use them for both sending and journaling.

DISLIKES

I don't like politics and spiders. Also, I am a Christian and am not interested in crude things, nudes or things with profanity. Thank you!
