Well, well, well. Where to start? My name? Okay, well, my name is Savannah. I am horrifingly 20 years old. I live in New York, and no, it's no where exciting. In fact, 'exciting' is not an adjective you'd use to describe the town I live in. My heart is in New York City (hence the nyhearts username) and my goal is to live there one day.

I'm currently expecting. Yep, soon to be young mother. When I'm not hating things/people/places/etc for absolutely no reason at all (I blame hormones) and crying over ridiculous things, I'm actually a friendly, somewhat cool person. I'd be friends with me. :)

I'm really not that interesting. Honestly. I can't sing, I can't act, I can't play sports, I wouldn't even know what to do with an instrument, I have zero grace. The best part? I'm okay with that. I like to consider myself the more "creative type". I write. It's my passion. I also like creating things, such as collages and greeting cards. ATCs are addicting! I also like to work with glitter. Excessive amounts of glitter.

I work at a grocery store as a cashier and hate every second of it. Believe me, I'm thankful to even HAVE a job, but I have zero patience when it comes to rude people.

I like to study certain true crime cases. I've been following the Columbine massacre since 2004 and plan to make a drive out there eventually. When I become interested in something, I become obsessed.

Oh, I've recently broken up with my boyfriend of two years and I'm hoping this will be a good way to get my mind off things. In my current state, some days I just do not handle the break up well at all.

I can be found on various websites. I'm a frequent stalker of GoodReads, a site which some of you major bookworms might be familiar with. On the link provided above, you can also creep my profile and find out what my parents created (aka. what I look like). :)

♥BIG swaps. Obviously I haven't done one one this website yet, but I'll get there! I love putting big packages/boxes together.

♥ Holidays. I love them all. Christmas is my favorite. I like ANYTHING that has to do with Christmas and I have an odd soft spot for gingerbreads.

♥ Vintage things. Especially greeting cards, especially ones that have things written in them. My great grandma gave me a photo album filled with greeting cards her and her husband exchanged while they were dating way back in the 30s & 40. I adore them.

♥Pastel colors.

♥Stationary. Any and all.

♥Recipes.Any and all.

♥Baby stuff. This one's kinda obvious, no? ;)

♥Cats.

Okay, let's shorten that list, shall we? I am, in no way shape or form, asking ONLY for those things on my "list". This is just to make the swap admins happy (just kidding). Honestly, I'm a very ease person to please. As long as it's not dirty, broken, or just down-right ugly, I can garuantee you I'll like it. If not, I can just pass it on down to someone who does! :)

I guess everyone has to have them. Here are mine.

♥I hate, hate, hate dark chocolate with a passion. It tastes like rat posion, not that I'd ever know what that tastes like. I also hate black licorice. And apple flavored things! Oh, I'm also a huge sissy and spicy things just won't go over well with me. However, I have a family that just adores spicy things, so if spicy things get sent my way.. rest assured that won't get wasted. :)

♥Decorate Milk jars! Okay, it's prettier than it sounds. Basically what I'm doing is painting milk jars with faux-etching paint and decorating them with Halloween stickers/images. Again, prettier than it sounds. When Christmas comes around (less than 90 days!), I'll repeat the process.

♥Halloween 'window' quilt. It's basically a tiny quilt that you can hang from, um, a window. Have I mentioned how much I love the holidays?

♥Lyric Journal. It's for a swap I'm in and I'm suuuper excited. I LOVE lyrics. I like to apply them to my daily life and the mood(s) I'm in that day. It's peaceful and therapeutic in a way.

This is a weird topic for me. I love lyrics, but I'm one of those rare people that can easily go a day without listening to a single song.

I like music I can dance to and forget the stresses of my day in, but I also like music that slows me down and gets me thinking.

I'm the girl that still buys CDs, and yes, I'm anxiously awaiting the drop of Taylor Swift's new album on October 25th. I'll be the first in line, watch.

On that note (bad pun, hehe), Taylor Swift is my musical hero. That girl writes songs FOR me. I can relate to her, her music, the word she writes. If I'm in love, I have plenty of songs to chose from. If I'm heart broken, I still have plenty of songs to chose from.

I'm also a huge fan of Christina Aguilera. Her music has gotten me through very tough, personal moments. Her past and knowing she hasn't always had it so easy makes me adore her that much more.
