I enjoy all music except country. My favorite artist John melencamp and Brian Adams. I enjoy music from the 70's-90's. I enjoy listening to old music from the 40's-50's. All the music from Vera Lynn to frank Sinatra. I also enjoy classical.

I like horror, mystery and spiritual books. My favorite authors are John Saul, Wilbur Smith. Stephen king. I love historical novels. My New Years resolution is to read the 50 odd books that I have collected with good intentions.

I also like horror, the scarier the better i always like a good stephen king screamer. I like a interesting drama also. I so enjoy the old chick flicks.....tear jerkers are wonderful. Historical based novel. I enjoy reading books first then watch the movie.

I do enjoy a good drama. A mini series based on history. But I enjoy coronation street, Dowton abbey, call the midwife. I still like to watch the Walton's, I have the entire series. I am obsessed with Corination Street , I have been watching since 1972.

Knitting, crochet and sewing. Quilting and needle work. I did do a lot of drawing in high school. I am just starting to quilt.

My favorite hobby is geneolog I love the colors green, yellow and red. I love to sit with a good cup a tea and a book. I love animals and gardening. Ihave 5 cats and 3 dogs. i love our family Quaker parrot "kiwi" who is now 5 years old. Boy time goes. I never am alone without home. He is best friend to my 10 year old cat. dinger.

I am enjoying swap-bot. I hope there will be a Corrination Street swap. I love receiving things ie Europe and other continents. My favorite thing I have found I like are tea swaps. At home I drink Black teaOrange pekoe. I love to receive and drink herbal tea but don't buy it at the grocery store. I enjoy postcards and spoons/ coasters of pictured foreign country. I wish I spoke other languages but don't I only know English. I am also doing my family tree.. Lavis, ferguson, Varey/Vary, curry, countries...USA, Canada, England, Scotland. I like to be surprised by my sender. I love to Collect vintage/antiques. I have a passion for dishes, esp. Cups &Saucers. I love go garden, perennials and vegetables. I am planning an English garden. I am also a collector of vintage reciepts. I love cooking and baking. I collect antique books for cooking. Either original or reprinted books.

I am a 55yr old Registered Practical Nurse.. I am living with a 27 yr old daughter who still lives at home with me. I live in a small town Lindsay Ontario.
