I'm an artist, mother, and former teacher living in New York. Currently, I'm a stay at home mom to my wonderful daughter. I love to keep busy by reading, cooking, going to museums, hiking, and crafting (of course!).

I have eclectic musical tastes. Some of my favorites are (in no particular order): Sugarland, Gossip, Ani Difranco, Billy Joel, Indigo Girls, Tom Petty, Kenny Chesney.....I could go on forever.

I love to read! Some of my favorites are the Harry Potter series, The Help, Eat Pray Love, Outlander, and my go-to book/poem that I read whenever I'm without anything else: Evangeline

Currently my favorites are Love Actually and The Princess Bride.

I'm a bit of a Bizarre Foods and No Reservations junkie. I also get sucked into the black hole of wedding programming like Say Yes to the Dress and My Fair Wedding (when did I become so prissy?).

Ack! Where to begin???? I'm trying new things all the time, but for a while I've been obsessed with making flower and feather hair clips, headbands, pins, hats, and jewelry. I also enjoy drawing, painting, decoupage, knitting(although I'm not a very good knitter), beading, making art books, sewing fun little dolls and pillows, and general craftiness.

I love kitties. I have 2 of my own and they're like my first children. I collect items cow themed, as well as salt and pepper shakers. I love anything purple, frilly, sparkly, or feathery...my style is all about details. I'm also a sucker for anything cute, fat, short, or fluffy. I love things that are salty/sweet, whether it's food or art. I think the human body is a beautiful thing and should be celebrated regardless of size. I love chocolate and sunflowers and nature in general. I spend a lot of my time reading. Most of all, I love laughter.

I strongly dislike food that is orange, rap music, and violence. Can't we all just get along?
