update 12/18/08
HURRAY! in the last 2 weeks I got a job and a roommate! I got rid of 2 minivan loads of debris to charity from my cleared out storage and the apartment (you collect lots o' stuff living alone for 11 years :-)) Things are really settling down finally for me! Now that I have the home front back under control my creativity is getting going again. I'm catching up slow but steady!
Huggles and Happy holidays!

Dear Swap-Bot friends…I checked out for a while. I decided I didn’t want to be “here” (this planet) and went to bed. I did not actively try to damage myself, I just didn’t care about anything any more. I did nothing, no house keeping, bathing, litter box cleaning, laundry, email (no internet temporarily for bill non-payment), I stopped taking my meds, didn’t look for a job… etc etc etc. The only things that did get done were the animals getting fed and my niece to and from school.
My mom showed up from Southern Cal and my sister stepped in and off I went to the therapist. My meds have been tweaked and I’m taking them correctly and I have a roommate moving in a week. I have gotten out of bed and rejoined the living :-)
I am dropping out of all my unassigned swaps and will be making good on the ones I owe. I also have several weeks of mail I have not even looked at so I will be rating as soon as I start going through the pile.
Please be patient with me while I regroup and get my defecation collected. I know my problems are not yours and I am very sorry that you got caught up in it. Please email me directly with any concerns or issues you have with me. I will respond. kerre_ reese_ arts@yahoo.com
Several folks have PM'd me to say they haven't gotten their goodies from me If you are expecting something from me let me know ASAP if it hasn't arrived in a timely manor - I like my good rating and want to keep it that way!!!.
**************11/5/2008 Update*******************
No job yet but I do get unemployment! I'm sending out as monies come in - mostly from small art sales right now. I'll let folks know if I'm running behind.
***************10/27/2008*******************
I went into work today and was told as of 10/31 my company will no longer be employing me. So I will be sending things out as I have the funds and I'll be letting my partners know. sigh I am ready for this year to be over!
------------------10/12/08------------------------------ Computer issues at home have been remedied! Now, if I can get the DSL back up and running at work!
Now that I have access to addresses again everything will be sent on Monday! I'll be PM-ing every one too!

Riverside, California native Kerre Reese has been living in the Bay Area for 17 years. The past 11 have been in Martinez.
Kerre has been a working artist in several mediums for more than 25 years. She is currently painting a 27 x 8 ft Trompe L’oeil mural of a Tuscan countryside in acrylic. On a smaller scale, she also paints with watercolors on paper and making a glass bead and mirror, one-of-a-kind sun catcher/wind chime combination she calls SunChimes. Several of her SunChimes can be found at the Riverside Art Museum gift shop. You might also find her crocheting, sewing or quilting or mixing her own herbal bath stuffs.
Kerre has studied several seasons with Bay Area Watercolorist Casey Rasmussen-White. Kerre’s watercolor works have been on display at Pleasant Hill Borders Books and Music and at the Riverside Art Museum’s 2nd, 3rd & 4th annual “Off The Wall" exhibit. Currently her work is on display at the mARTinez GALLERY at 630 Court Street Martinez.
Kerre is the Vice President of the Martinez Arts Association and a member of the Riverside Art Museum
On a more personal note, I'm a 44 yr old single (happily divorced), childless by choice, liberal, happy, backpacking, bibliophile, former historical costumer & Ren Fair Brat, Pagan woman who loves to cook, garden, play with her 4 rescued Manx Cats and Pembroke Welsh Corgi and has better things to do with her time than keep a spotless house.
Also on mycorgi.com page I have videos of Chloe the Manx walking Willie the corgi
Loreena mckennitt, Most anything Celtic including bagpipes (my Da plays)& sound tracks, world music, Gypsy Kings, The Corrs, Kiss...... and I can't even begin to list them all sigh Pretty much anything but rap and country
I'm addicted to books on cd or tape. Especially the Outlander Series by Diana Gaboldon and Elizabeth Peters Amelia Peabody series :-D
Oh, I read several books a week, my personal library is in the thousands and I am alsways going to the library to check out others ...but faves are Laurell K Hamilton, Sherilyn Kenyon, Lora Leigh, JD Robb, Elizabeth Peters, Janet Evanovich, Elizabeth Lowell, James Paterson's - Maximum Ride series, Katie McAllister, Kelley Armstrong, Kim Harrison, MR Sellars, CJ Cherryh, Diana Gabaldon, Dean Koontz, Morgan Hawke, JR Ward, Angela Knight and just about anything from the Publishers: Ellora's Cave, Samhain, Loose-Id & Red Sage. I read mostly Paranormal & Erotic Romances, oh and the Yaoi manga is cool too
Love anime.Looks like I'm going to have to invest in Full Metal ALchemist and a couple of others. I can watch all 3 LOTR over and and I do :-) Love Firefly and Serenity, Ghost Rider, The Mummy - Brandon Fraser, Princess Bride, Willow, Underworld -both, all 3 Matrix, The new BSG series, pretty much anything Sci-Fi and the list goes on..
No cable and thats the only way to get any TV so I go to my sisters on Friday night to catch up on CSI-Vegas and Battlestar Galactica and thats it.
Well as my very formal bio states I do a little bit of everything. and lots of stuff I want to try. Last crocheting I did were potholders with a skull on them to practice chart reading. I also bead something I call SunChimes, also called Garden Jewelery. It uses small mosaic mirrors and stained glass as well as glass beads and metal charms and bells. Next I want to try needle felting. Oh and I'm currently on a soft sculpture Goddess doll kick - ACK!! I just discovered ATC's I'm doomed!
I am a bright bold color person not usually soft pastels or patterns. I definitely do NOT do pink as a main color. My bedroom is currently blue and white, my Kitchen is white with blue and copper accents and lots of chickens & roosters and my living room right now is mostly navy and gold with multiple red accents. I have one room that has nothing but filled bookcases floor to ceiling and more books stacked on the floor :-)
Love Purples and greens and blue reds more than the yellow reds
I am crocheting baby blankets, hats, scarves, mittens and slippers from donated scrap yarn to send to the troops in Afghanistan. From there they are distributed to the Afghanis in need. Most of the things are made from multiple bits of yarn, so they end up looking like a crazy quilt - no 2 are alike

Sending sweet thoughts your way.
Be well. You'll always be in my heart.
Just a note to let you know I have angelled the HPC: Your Personal Flag swap. Sorry to hear you are having such a bad time. I hope things get better for you. Take care, Sam xoxo
I was just wondering what has happened with the Happy Holiday Card Challenge must be sent by: November 3, 2008 that you pm'd me you'd be late with. I still haven't gotten anything...Should I ask for an angel? blessings, Gypsy
Glad things are working out for you. I had sent you a message about a swap that I hadn't received a rating on from you. Thought I would try this comment board as well and maybe you would get back to me. I mailed my postcards for "postcards plain and simple" on 11/13, so you should have received it. If you have, could you rate me so I can archive this swap? If not, let me know & I can resend a card to you. Thanks.
So any luck tracking down that ATC or is this a lost cause now?
It's never to early to start wishing you have a Happy New Year ..form Raven and the Monthly ATC Swappers group
So sorry to hear you had a rough patch, but I'm so glad that you are on the road to recovery now! If you need to talk, I'm just a pm away...
{{hugs}}
blessings, Gypsy
Hope your day has been a beautiful one. xoxo
