My name is Madelene. I am a 29 year old nurse from sunny Queensland, Australia. I enjoy scrapbooking and card making, and I look forward to sharing the fruits of my labour with some of you :) My favourite books and TV shows are crime shows and books and I am copletely addicted to gossip magazines. A trashy pass time I know. I like animals of all kinds especially birds which I try to attract to my home with a bird bath, feeders and bird seed bells. I hope to swap with you soon.

I love music of all sorts but usually what is playing I the top 40 on the radio. I played saxophone and piano when I was younger and enjoy listening to some songs rewritten for the piano. For example some people change a current top 40 hit and play it on the piano. I think it sounds great.

My favourite books are crime novels by James Patterson and Kathy Reichs. I also loved reading The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver and People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks and I highly recommend these books. Another author I love is Jodie Picoult and I even met and attended her lecture on writing in 2008. My guilty pleasure is trashy magazines... The trashier the better, if it tells you about the latest reality TV gossip its even better :P

Movies I love are the classics like Dirty Dancing, Little Women. Steel Magnolias and similar.

My favourite crafts are card making and scrapbooking but I am also keen to have a try at others too. I already know I am no good at knitting or crocheting as my poor mother tried to teach several times and failed miserably. I can do cross stitching but am terribly slow at it.

I am completely addicted to reality televison and I enjoy watching... Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Real Housewives of New Jersey Real Housewives of Orange County Real Housewives of New York City Jerseylicous Jersey Shore Geordie Shore The Valleys and any other trashy reality

I like to collect: anything miniature English Red post boxes and English red telephone boxes miniature tea sets writing paper make-up

I am brand new at this and am looking forward to swapping. I am more than happy to receive anything at all. Homemade goodies especially. Stickers and papers are always appreciated and the more detail the better.

If I get a swap I do hope my partner reads this part of the profile and can give me some ideas on what they would like and send me in the right direction because as I said I am new to this :)
