Favorite Crafts: I love most crafty things - my current favorite is knitting, though I love crochet as well. I love to use natural fibers - plant and/or animal. I love cottons and linens because they are cheap and versatile.

Favorite thing to make: My favorite thing to knit is dishcloths - I tend to get stuck on one pattern for a few months and then move onto another one for a few months. I also love handmade soaps that are creamy and moisturizing (rather than the harsher kinds). I keep a box of handmade soaps that I buy at craft fairs and homemade dishcloths at the ready for easy gifts. Almost all of my friends and acquaintances receive dishcloths as presents from me.

Favorite Exercise: My other main hobby is Bikram Yoga. I am addicted and go 3-4 times a week, more if I can. I use handmade dishcloths to wipe the sweat away. :)

My family: I have one daughter 2.5 years old and I work while my husband stays home with her. We live in a townhouse in the DC burbs. I love my job.

Favorite foods: I love dark chocolate and coffee. These are my main treats of choice. I also love a very dirty martini, preferably with blue-cheese stuffed olives - yum. I only drink at special events and my ladies book club. I love Bikram yoga too much to drink more than that.

Favorites in Decor: I like to decorate with calm and warm tones - mostly earthy. My walls are all brown (tan) and green. I love pops of color, but I think they should be like flowers - dressing up the landscape.

I am not a trinkets person - I love my useful things (like dishcloths) to be colorful, bright and happy.

Favorite Books: I am a Janeite - I love all things Jane Austen and have a bumper sticker on my mini-van that says, "I'd rather be reading Jane Austen". Of course I am a member of the Jane Austen Society.

A future dream: I love Airstream trailers and hope to own one someday. I love being outdoors for a nice hike and to breath in the fresh air, but I love to sleep in my own bed and have a real shower - so camping in an Airstream seems ideal. For now, my airstream pjs will suffice.

I do not consider myself a Christian, so Christian themed things, crosses, biblical storied things, etc are better given to someone else who will appreciate them more.

I also don't really care for vanilla scented things or candles in general.
