I don't really know how to classify my movie tastes...

Back to the Future, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Clerks, Indiana Jones, Branagh's Much Ado About Nothing, The Muppet Movie (and all that came after), The Princess Bride, Star Wars (original trilogy)

The majority of my TV tastes fall into one of two categories: "classic" or British. I'm always looking for recommendations.

Blackadder, Black Books, Doctor Who (4th/5th), Fairly OddParents, Father Ted, Flight of the Conchords, Futurama, Laverne & Shirley, MASH, The Monkees, Monty Python, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Only Fools and Horses, Red Dwarf, The Simpsons, Scrubs, Spin City, Star Trek (Original and Next Generation), Two and a Half Men, Waiting for God, The X-Files

Eclectic. I listen to a LOT of different music. I don't like "everything" (the typical country/rap exclusion applies), but I do like to branch out and find new things. If you make a mix CD, I'd like to know what YOU'RE into, even if it includes artists I'm already familiar with.

Some favorites: the Beatles, Billy Joel, The Black Seeds, Bruce Springsteen, Counting Crows, Crowded House, Flight of the Conchords, the Monkees, R.E.M., Rockapella

I like Dave Barry, Stephen Fry, Madeleine L'Engle, Michael J. Nelson, Ellery Queen, Jules Verne, and P.G.Wodehouse.

I also enjoy Nancy Drew, travel books (especially on local customs/etiquette), cultural folklore, ghost stories, ratty paperback Star Trek novels, kids' books, Sesame Street books (especially illustrated by Joe Mathieu), cookbooks (even though I don't cook very well)... I'll read just about anything.

Also, if you have any old issues of any magazines lying around...

Good: apple, banana, bubble gum, butterscotch, cinnamon, cola, cotton, garlic, hot/spicy, kiwi, lime, linen, maple, melon, peanut butter, pomegranate, root beer, spearmint, strawberry, toffee, vanilla

Bad: coconut, coffee, dark chocolate, licorice, anything too overpowering (especially flowery scents)
