I spend my days daydreaming about traveling the world solo. Not to resorts in Cuba or Mexico, but to places where the roads are less travelled. Instead of surfing Facebook when I'm bored, I'll 'google' things like; 'ghostowns', indigenous tribes', 'the least travelled places on earth', anything that will open my eyes to new places that I've never heard of, places where the average Joe wouldn't consider or even think of to go. These things truly fascinate me. I admire those who have been able to travel the world and truly yearn for this type of lifestyle. My ultimate dream would be to travel to each continent, spend a certain amount of time living there with the locals, trying new food, learning new languages and experiencing a different way of life, while taking a million photographs to capture each moment :-)

I'm 26 years old and just learning how to cook! I've lived on my own since I was 20, but hated cooking and never wanted to learn, so I lived off take-out, frozen foods, anything I could make in under 15 minutes. I recently started having a mini meltdown about how I'm almost 30 & decided that I need to learn!! And, thanks to Pinterest & all of the delicious looking recipes on there, I got the push to do it! ! My cooking adventures started in January and I must say, I really enjoy it now. Most things have been a success, thanks to Mom being only a phone call away to answer all of my constant cooking questions :-) I recently got a crock pot, looking forward to trying it!

I'd love recipe suggestions! But please remember I am a newbie, so nothing too difficult ;) Also, please do not send recipes with any kind of fish/seafood or tofu (yuck), veal or lamb.
