Hello all! I'm a married mom of an 8 year old highland dancer (Aislinn) and a 6 year old Beaver Scout (Hudson). We have 2 dogs - a beagle, Annie, and a pug-zu, Rainey - as well as two cats, Olive (aka Baby Kitty) and Sage.

I work in a post office and I am also a university student, pursuing a combined BA in Classics and Medieval and Renaissance Studies.

I mostly enjoy reading historical fiction and non-fiction, particularly anything to do with the medieval period and/or to do with royalty. I also really enjoy comedy books, my favourite being Tina Fey's Bossypants. :)

Moulin Rouge is my absolute favourite, also love Scott Pilgrim, anything Wes Anderson and Monty Python.

I LOVE CORONATION STREET (just putting it out there). I also love most British comedy shows, especially Monty Python, Blackadder, Absolutely Fabulous, The IT Crowd, any Ricky Gervais program, the Vicar of Dibley...(and on and on)

I also love(d) 30 Rock, The Office, Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, any Gordon Ramsay show, America's Next Top Model, Project Runway, House, and probably many others I can't remember.

I love knitting, never seem to find time for it lately though. I also love sewing but my sewing machine is out of commission and I have carpal tunnel syndrom so it's difficult to knit by hand. :(
