I am a mom, artist, teacher, musician, and country girl all rolled up into one! Loving the artistic life while living in a small rural town in Kentucky.

I love all kinds of art; I am a potter, and craft altered ceramic pieces, both wheel thrown and hand made. I am an avid Zentangler! I love to draw not just the black and white tangles, but with watercolor added, different colors of Micron pens, and I've recently started tangling on found objects! I also like to collage and am really into mixed media.

I am a middle school art teacher . Some days are a challenge, but I love what I do! I always love getting up in the morning and going back. :)

I am so excited to find a community of artists to swap artistic work with!

MY STYLE: My artistic style is a blend of folksy, eclectic, and organic. I draw alot of circulinear objects, and incorporate nature, trees, branches, flora and fauna, and feathers into my artwork. I am also unexplainably drawn to drawing different types of 'tree of life' works.

LIKES: My favorite color: Any shade of blue. I especially love the combination of a nice medium blue and a sage green. It makes me feel peaceful and happy inside. :)

I like whimsical things, but not overly-cutesy. I like nature, earthy things, 'natural', eclectic, vintage, folk art, fairies, weaving, fabric art, drawings, ceramics, things with lots of color, earthtones, handmade jewelry, baskets, the vintage 'grungy' look, tea-dyed and worn look items, handmade soap, the scent of lavender, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon, vanilla iced coffee (YUM), ATCs, oil pastels, watercolor, pen and ink drawings, world-themed cultural items ( India, Africa, China, Japan), collage, sharpies, Micron pens and other art supplies, graffiti, tie dye, found object art, and LOVE LOVE LOVE Zentangle in all shapes, sizes, and forms!

I am a Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Twilight fan. I really like medieval things, old things, retro, and vintage.

DISLIKES: Overly-cutesy items and things that are really 'commercial'. I like things that are handmade - different, one-of-a-kind, that you cannot find in a store. I don't care for dark or gothic things, skulls, tiny stickers, and gloomy things.; no dollar store perfumes, cosmetics or personal items ( I have very sensitive skin and can only use a handful of products); and I don't care for items that smell like smoke.
