Quilting, knitting, quilting, crochet, quilting. And did I mention quilting? :)

I love doing things with my hands. Quilting is my craft of choice these days, but I also enjoy knitting and crochet when I have the time. In addition, I like to build things. I renovated my basement - built walls, put up drywall, installed flooring etc. Give me a challenge and I'll tackle it.

I have 3 cats, who love to help me sew. They won't sit on anyone's lap, but head for the sewing machine and they are right in there trying to help.

I don't collect knick-knacks, and often give away my creations. Most of my quilts have gone to family or charity. As long as they are going to a good home or for a good cause, I'm happy. It's the creative process I enjoy the most.

Adventure, suspense, mystery, science fiction, romance. Almost anything I can get my hands on :) I love to read, but don't get much of a chance these days. Favourite authors are Dean Koontz (his older stuff, anyway), Robin Cook, Nora Roberts.

Country all the way. I love country music. Will listen to lots of other stuff, but country is my favourite hands-down.

Favourite colours: I love jewel tones. deep red, green, purple, blue. But I'm expanding my tastes, and really just about anything goes. As long as I can find some friends for a piece of fabric, a quilt is in the making, and someone out there will love it.

I love chocolate, and sweet treats. Don't drink hot drinks (coffee, tea) but I do love hot chocolate. My kitties like treats too :)

As I said above, I don't collect things. So I prefer "usable" stuff that won't hang around long. Fabric counts, 'cause that gets used in my quilting.

I will always rate. And I will always send. But I am sending from Canada, so packages may take longer than expected to reach you. Please be patient, and contact me if something hasn't arrived when you expect it.

I try to send all my swaps out as letter mail (first class) and hence avoid any swap with "bulky" items in it. Saves issues at customs, and speeds up delivery a bit.
