I always feel slightly awkward writing these little about me blurbs. The art of adequate self-description eludes me.

I'm a dabbler, a scatterbrain, and endlessly curious. I adore my furbabies, and currently have one chihuahua-x, a hyperactive foxy, an old and shy black cat, and a cat that kind of came with a house I moved into. I take a lot of photographs and love playing around in photoshop (though I have an awful lot to learn). I've been drawing for years, mostly weird little characters in ballpoint pen. I'm hoping to expand my artistic horizons and I think that participating in Swap Bot will help me with that. I'm a BIG thrift shopper and I'm slowly filling my house with all sorts of retro odds and ends. I think I'm a bit of a magpie, especially for imagery.

All things creepy and/or weird.

Día de los Muertos.

Steampunk.

Random imagery - I'm a big photo collector. In fact I'd love to exchange photos with other swap-bot members. I'm especially taken with strange and/or creepy imagery.

Collage Imagery and odds & ends. Which sort of relates to random imagery because I'm open to all sorts of images.

Photography - both taking photos and drooling over the photographs other people take.

ATCs - I put that interest on hold for a few years but I'm getting back into it now and would love to trade and get my collection going again.

Art in general.

Oddities and rarities - I'm quite taken with anything that's a little bit different. Be it strange found objects, weird stories, vintage tidbits, and so on.

The paranormal - whether it be real or imaginary, true ghost stories or fantasy vampires.

Fabulous fabrics and fantastic papers.

Glimpses into the lives of others.

Pretty much anything vintage/retro - Though I'm not big on the pin-up girl thing for some reason :-/

Quirky and/or handmade postcards.

Old photographs.

Shells, rocks, and minerals.

Dislikes: Kawaii, Hello Kitty, Anything along those sorts of cuteness lines. Tea.

Photographs - yours/found/vintage. ATCs. Your art/doodles/thoughts. Old book pages. Quirky and/or weird postcards. Little stories. Children's book illustrations. Anything odd or kitsch. Fabric. Lace. Paper (esp for use in collage). Flowers. Beetles. Spiders. Butterflies. Insects in general. Curiosities and found odds and ends. All sorts of imagery.

I'm relatively new to swapping. Despite being a member here for years it wasn't until recently I decided to give this all a go.
