I am from the education world. I love fabrics and making fabric ATC's is a favourite of mine. I just went to a show in Lancaster Penn. and gave Ricky Tims one of my cards and just sent him two more today. He has an article in this month's magazine about making these pieces of art. I found it unusual that not many people knew what ATC's were but I gave them away anyway. The article talks about contact information put on the back. I found that disturbing. I belong to two Guilds and two sewing groups. As for my likes I love batik fabric in blues, blacks, creams and browns. My favourite symbols are the Eiffel Tower ( I even have a soap dispenser in the kitchen that is an Eiffel Tower) and the Fleur de lis ( wallpaper in the hall and upholstery fabric on a antique rocker). I travel quite a bit and love textiles from other countries, learning about cultures, food - finding interesting recipes, making them and then sampling them. I have a very beautiful family with two adult children who along with my husband make me very proud and happy. i am surrounded by many friends, some I have know for a long time and some who I just have met. Life is good!!!
