Hi! My name is Kristin and I am 31 yrs old and married. No kids yet but someday would like to have one. I live in So. California and I love to bake, knit and make jewelry. I have two dogs - a pom and a chow/husky mix - my boys.

Baking - i absolutely love to bake and am always looking for new baking gadgets for my kitchen. I am also always in the need for more mixing spatulas, oven mitts, pot holders and cooling racks. My kitchen colors are bright - orange, yellow, red, white. I also love food magazines like delicious, bon apetite, cooks illustrated, cooks country, donna hay, martha stewart, etc

Knitting - I am an avid knitter and love tools to make knitting more fun. I've been trying to build my circular knitting needle collection and get into using DPNs. I'd love to learn how to crochet though so I can make some cute toys. I also like knitting mags.

Jewelry making - i used to make a lot of jewelry and i am trying to get back into the game. I love natural materials.

Gardening - I have a nice garden that I neglect and I want to be a better gardner. i love garden adornments too like cute stakes and feeders.

I like all types of music so I can't really narrow it down. I like R&B from the 60s, any 80s alternative music and some of the pop stuff, Brian Setzer Orch and music like that, rock like Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Van Halen, alternative 90s stuff, 90s country. I also like souly jazzy hip hop like Tribe Called Quest and then I like rap like old Snoop, Dr Dre, Tupac, etc. i LOVE madonna and the cure. Newer artists that I like are John Mayer, Justin Timberlake, Kelly Clarkson, ummm... My favorite musicals are RENT and Wicked. I LOVE to be introduced to new music and I esp love mixes. I have an iPod.

LOST, CSI, Knitty Gritty, Carpoolers, The Office, Desperate Housewives (although it's getting a little to hard to watch), Pushing Daisies, Mad Men, Seth McFarlane stuff, Food Network, Project Runway - a lot of the shows on Bravo, Weeds.

My favorite favorites are mostly older movies, like the Indiana Jones movies, Lethal Weapons movies, anything with Julia Roberts, 80s flicks esp anything with John Cusack or directed by John Hughes, Vacation films, Christmas themed movies, old stuff with Marilyn or Bob or Fred or Cary or Audrey.

I love cookbooks, esp baking books with decorating tips. I really love cooking, esp trying new things out. I am not dissuaded with a difficult sounding recipe. I also like chick lit books, books about my hobbies (knitting, cooking) and collecting vintage childrens books (vintage meaning like from my childood).

I love retro stuff, esp things from the late 50s/early 60s, ethnic foods, Kauai and taking pictures. My favorite color is purple. I just got a Vespa scooter so that is my fav thing right now. I like ocean-themed stuff but nothing too crafty looking. I like shells and ocean smelling scents, cool looking wooden frames. I love the smell of cinnamon and Christmas is my fav holiday. I like coffee, like Peets, Coffee Bean or Seattles Best and am always looking for cool travel mugs. I love peanut butter and chocolate. And red licorice.

I am allergic to poppy seeds, cats and olives. I do not like the smell of coffee or maple. I am not fond of candles or frames because I am really particular about those things.
