Currently on display at work on my Mini Art Quilt Gallery is one beautiful piece of art by June Calender called "Pioneers Circles of Protection" from 2-2013.
I change my display when the urge hits me or we have a special holiday but this one has been up for 3 weeks and I love it!
Thanks for the nice stash of squares for QnT Nov wta! I love how many of them are all swirly and Art Nouveau-esque! Then that bold pink pattern is way cool I'm not normally. A pink person but that pattern is WoW! :)
Hi June, Thank you for keeping this OFAP group alive. I don't chat in the forum but I try to join most of the swaps. I don't like poetry or quilting, but one thing we do have in common is thrift shopping. Just yesterday I went to lunch with my mom and afterwards went to a thrift shop. Lots of beautiful vintage hats, shoes, beaded dresses--what fun we had. The other thing we have in common is that we are picky about what books we read. I feel bad when my friend gives me a bunch of books and I don't want to read any of them! I'm not into those cheaply written detective mysteries. Hope you are seeing some spring there in Cape Cod and getting out to enjoy the sound of the waves and chirping of the birds! Happy Spring, Laura
Hey there! I am your partner for Profile Perusal, Post & Postcards. I happen to be a big chocolate lover too. I used to make chocolate truffles for gifts and now my son makes them ( for his girlfriend!)
Another thing we have in common is a love of blank notebooks. I use them for a lot of different things. One I keep quotes in. I get them at book journals.com made out of oild books that were going to be destroyed. 📖
