I'm an RN working with new moms and babies. I'm an artist working in oils & watercolors. I love antique handcrafts and doing things in the old ways. I love making things by hand. I love tiny things, little treasures and bitsy fairies. I design tiny cottages and hope to build my Rosebud Cottage someday surrounded by gardens, apple and cherry trees. I love flowers, especially lilacs, pink, ivory and apricot colored old-fashioned roses, violets and spring bulbs. I'm a dreamer, and idealist, nature lover, gardener. I love kitties (I have 2, Thomas and Miss Mollie), bunnies, sheep and birds. My home is decorated with white rustic and old world Scandinavian, Victorian farmhouse style decorating, old wood, old linen and handcrocheted/knit lace. I love farmland, open countryside and my family (4 grown kids, 1 grown foster son, 1 DIL, 1 soon to be DIL). I wear only natural fibers, seek to reuse things and not buy new, avoid plastic when I can. My interests include: Oil painting, Watercolor painting, handspinning, knitting, reading, Christian meditation, contemplative prayer, Celtic Christianity, Living history, designing tiny homes, sewing, gardening, playing piano, singing, hiking, birdwatching, wildlife watching.

Vintage look bluebird (and robins, songbirds, etc.) and egg ephemera, papers, stickers, stamps.

Japanese craft/sewing magazines such as Cotton Time, Cotton & Paint, etc.

Finnish, Danish or Swedish decorating magazines
