Hello, everyone! My name's Sarah, I'm in my early 20's and I'm currently living in Georgia, USA. I'm a newbie in regards to sending snail mail, but I'm pretty experienced with having email/virtual pen pals, and have a few long-term ones. Please be patient with me if I do something wonky, and I'll try to fix it and improve! I'm interested in learning about different languages as well as different varieties of English! If you would be willing to share some tidbits about your language(s) or the local accent where you're from, that'd be great! My dream as a kid was to work for NASA, and I'm still waiting for contact with aliens so that I save the day with my xeno-linguistic skills (I studied Linguistics in undergrad). I can speak/read intermediate Korean, some Spanish, and some Latin. I also really love animals of all kinds. My favorites are horses, whale sharks, and foxes, as well as small animals like hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, and chickens. I have a pet horse who is very much so my baby

I like Doctor Who (classic and new, and especially #5 and #8); The Mandalorian; The Witcher (the books, the old polish TV series, and the games); Phantom of the Opera (all versions); pop music from the 80s to now; horse movies like Black Beauty, Spirit, and The Black Stallion; The Last Unicorn; Disney movies; Don Bluth movies; Studio Ghibli (especially Spirited Away!!); 2nd and 3rd gen Kpop (VIXX, SuJu, SNSD, Shinhwa, etc.); Red Dead Redemption; My Little Pony (any decade, but especially the 80s and 00s); Lord of The Rings; Kdramas (my favorites are Crash Landing on You and What's Wrong With Secretary Kim); The Chronicles of Narnia

I enjoy painting (mostly watercolor, some acrylic), coloring books, and writing letters. My most recent obsessions are enamel pins, and I've amassed a fair amount of them already! I also love hanging out with my horse, playing video games, and reading. I also journal and use a paper planner, and I love spending time decorating them.

I'm really into star patterns and space themes. I also really like cute things (Molang rabbit, Disney, unicorns, Jinbesan, Sumikko Gurashi, We Bare Bears). "Pastoral" or cottagecore things, like farm scenes, fields, flowers, etc. are great, too! I also love fantasy and sci-fi, as well as cryptids and mythological creatures like bigfoot, mothman, etc. My favorite colors are orange, blue, and pink but I really like navy blue and gold together, especially for spacey things. Stickers and washi tape are awesome, and I always love getting them! As for postcards specifically, I love animals, landscapes (including tourist landscape postcards, like the ones from national parks), and florals. I'm pretty easy to please, though, so long as it's nothing lewd, relating to drugs, or political/advertisement-y. I don't have any dietary restrictions, and I love tea! My favorite is hibiscus tea, but I love trying new varieties.
